I'm sure there are sites that host open warfare between #NeverTrumpists and Trump supporters. I doubt those sites change any minds. Nobody is stopping the #NeverTrumpists from expressing themselves in other forums, heck, the news reports and pundits probably run 70% or more anti-Trump v. 30% or less pro-Trump.

I don’t mind criticism and opposition during a primary when we are trying to improve on our base principles, but this primary is over, Trump is the nominee so now it is past time to turn our focus over to helping Donald Trump defeat Hillary Clinton everyone should be onboard with that.

Trump Derangement Symptom is the Zika Virus of the body politic. The only difference is the deformation of the brain occurs after birth instead of pre-birth. We Republicans have voted, we have spoken. It's Trump. I never wanted to vote for Mitt, or McCain, but I accepted it and did my duty to stop the Red Menace. I have maintained the reason we kept losing ground is our candidates participated in Political Correctness, which amounts to a two word title for the act of suicide. Trump must maintain the aggressive,plain talk, in-your-face rhetoric no matter what. It is the only way he can win. He has displayed a knack for labeling the opposition. I think "Crooked Hillary" is an excellent handle. Speaking of handles for Hillary, here's mine... :-)

Look here Tracinski, you and your cyber-sycophants are obviously confused regarding the difference between "free speech" and "private property". Free Republic is NOT and never has been, a totally wide open public forum where anyone can spew and spout off any damn thing they wish, they first have to actually register WITH the owner of FR (Jim Robinson) and agree to abide by specified guidelines. Free Republic is PRIVATE PROPERTY, no different than if posters were personally hanging out in JimRob's living room but if they get out of line, they're going to be shown the door, they are GUESTS not permanent residents.

Free Republic is 100 percent privately funded, with no commercial advertising, no subsidies, it is run entirely on donations from the posters and from the resources of Jim Robinson. "His house, his rules". Jim did indeed state that there is not going to be any more tolerance for the backstabbing subversive behavior generated by Cruz supporters who refuse to accept that the primary war is over, their guy lost, but just like that fanatical Japanese soldier who kept on fighting after 1945, the more rabid Cruz fanatics keep on roaming the island and occasionally pop up to take a pot shot on FR, and they are deleted (*ZOTTED* as we FReepers like to call it), and rightly so.

A lot of these so called “conservatives” think they will make more money when they are the opposition. They think if Hillary wins, they oppose her “administration” and the money rolls in for 4 or 8 years. They want her to win. It’s money in their pocket. A guaranteed income.

I don't get this guy! Trump should be an Objectivist Hero. Ayn Rand embraced the individualist that achieved for his own sake unanswerable to others.

I have found that I can say pretty much anything that I want to say here. I think great weight is placed upon how things are said. A lot of folks let politics make them very angry and hostile. I try to remember that none of this will make much difference in 100 years. If political issues made me angry and unhappy, I would spend very little time thinking about them.

We have been blessed with the gift of life, but it's relatively short. Why make it painful?
