I seem to remember that our Constitution gives our President the right to “veto” all the “powers” that you said Congress has. The “veto” is the President’s “check” on Congress.

The Constitution also provides a “veto-override” power for the Congress. That is Congress’s “check” on the President.

This means that, to actually exercise the powers, which you claim the Congress has, Congress would need to have veto-proof 2/3rds majorities in both the House and the Senate. And (need I add) NO RINOs to support the “veto”.

Now, when, in Obama’s nearly eight disastrous years in office, did those Anti-Obama super-majorities occur?

Never?

NEVER!

I like your spirit, and I agree that the “establishment” could have played the cards they held better, but I think your analysis here is over-simplified.

What you say is factually correct but we DID have a Republican majority in both Houses, however slim. Veto overrides would be extremely difficult but how many times has Øbama had to veto something? The Republicans rolled over and played dead “oh, we can’t win; we surrender.” There should have been a steady stream of bills landing on Øbama’s desk forcing him to veto and forcing RAT Senators to go on record with the fail to override. Getting that record and having a list of bills with strong fiscal responsibility and national defense focus would be of great value in this re-election season.

but I think your analysis here is over-simplified.

That it is, mine is more of a philosophical view, the Congress has extraordinary powers none the less, the problem is they continue to play the game by established rules that protect the corrupt and themselves. Until somebody actually starts mixing it up and very publicly use the Power they have to stuff those rules right back down their throats. It will be a Losing Game for Liberty and the American People.

“to actually exercise the powers, which you claim the Congress has, Congress would need to have veto-proof 2/3rds majorities in both the House and the Senate”

THEY DON’T EVEN TRY. I believe if they actually put forth an Honest, in your Face smackdown of the lawlessness by Going through THE PROCESS and Publicly Shame ALL INVOLVED, Including the Morally Bankrupt and Dishonest Members of Congress, things would change rapidly. But they won’t because The LEADERSHIP of Both Parties is involved at the Highest Levels of Corruption.

It only took 57 Donald Trumps to Create this Country
