Target CEO Brian Cornell says the company isn't backing down from its stance on transgender bathrooms, despite a widespread backlash.

If I have ever set foot in a Target in the past, it would now be the last time.
I can’t hurt them
maybe that’s the point....somewhere,somebody in that organization is going to make a killing ...maybe golden parachutes if the company fails....
This guy is one rape in a Target restroom away from a real nightmare.
**** “Brian Cornell can do whatever he wants - its a free country.
But its not free without consequences... as Brian will learn.” ****
Bump!
Thing is Govt has no Competition and when they change the rules WHAT DO WE DO THEN?
(I Fired my Congresscritter and he still was re-elected)
Then they can just go broke because a lot of people are boycotting their stores.
The boycott may or may not work but is definitely worth a try. I have made the conscious decision not to shop there.
I'll go the extra 15 minutes to Wal-Mart.
(Yeah Wallyworld isn't perfect either but they ain't embracing sexual deviants in their restrooms. Not yet anyway...)
Keep it up Target. You've already lost ALL of your Canadian stores. And your American ones aren't in that hot a shape either.
Believe what you may, but that less than 2% of the population is not going to bail you out financially.
Their prices are going through the roof after Trump gets done with China.
Let’s see...if I don’t shop there and I short the stock does the CEO still win?
You mean Tim Cook?
Target-—where women are women and men are, too!
I was in Target recently and saw an odd sight: a older woman who looked like an old-fashioned eastern European peasant, and a tall, skinny man —perhaps her son— who was dressed in a headscarf, sweater, mid-calf-length denim skirt, black stockings and sensible shoes. I don’t remember the last time I saw a man in women’s clothing. I guess the welcome mat is out at Target.
Well said. I applaud their freedom to choose a plan for their business. Too bad Christian bakers and photographers aren’t afforded the same consideration, but that is another story. I’m exercising my personal liberty by choosing to never shop at a Target again. Even if they were to reverse their idiotic and dangerous policy it would be a long, long time before I would consider shopping at Target. The damage is done. Lots of other stores big and small that I can go to with a clear conscious and worry less about my safety and in particular the safety of my wife. This is one time Target is way off the mark.
TARGET; going the way of GEMCO.
Cornell is only the CEO; there is a Board of Directors, and there are shareholders. The shareholders might have a say before too long if they continue to follow the J.C. Penney business plan.
IIRC, Target has always leaned left; Gov. Dayton (and former Sen) from MN is a Target founder’s limo liberal heir.
Another 2 billion dollar loss. CEO doesn’t care. He will get fired, get millions of dollars in a severance package and move on to the next company - shades of icarly
And don't even try to tell me you're straigh either because you have "the look".
What happened to CEO’s who stayed out of politics and concerned themselves with making a profit?
And I am still shopping elsewhere...
That’s the way, Brian! Blame your customers! I’m sure that’ll help bring in sales!
