Having heard about regret from many sources lately only furthers my belief that this may be the case in our “me, me, me” attention whore society...

Some respected medical professionals (whom the MSM generally ignore) claim it is a form of “disassociative disorder,” very much like that suffered by (mostly) young women who believe they are fat and then become bulimic.
