The thing that gets me is that women of draft age, including conservative women, have no said a word against this. They have not organized. I have heard controlled media support from women about this.
If young American women are too stupid to stand up for themselves, ofcourse they are going to be abused by this Islamic leaning police state. Heck, they don’t even care if the government orders them to share the bathrooms and locker rooms with men, opening themselves and their children to a great risk of rape as a way of life.

A Summary of the NDAA from McCain's office defends the provision to include women in Selective Service as follows: "Because the Department of Defense has lifted the ban on women serving in ground combat units, the committee believes there is no further justification in limiting the duty to register under the Military Selective Service Act to men."
Thus, McCain believes that because a few liberal social groups and Obama's politically appointed generals want to include women in combat on a voluntary basis, the Senate should therefore require all women to potentially register for the draft.
And instead of debating this earth shattering social transformation publicly in a standalone bill, McCain decided to slip in the provision to a 1,000-page bill authorizing all defense programs.

IMHO women’s role is to create life, not end it. No way they should be combat soldiers.
Equal means EQUAL. Why is this so difficult for some to understand? It is the Left which wants “true equality”. OK fine and I can support that 100%.
Years ago I used to hold open doors for women as a courtesy, allow them to get into an elevator first, light their cigarettes (back in the day), compliment them if they were deserving (new dress, hairdo, etc) and it was all rec’d with a thank you and the women were pleased to be treated in what I believed was a special way.
But some women (the ugly ones to be sure) weren’t getting this attention and resented the pretty women simply for being more attractive (this is a common and strictly a female trait). Suddenly it became “sexist’ to compliment a woman or to show them any preference or courtesy. Telling a woman she was beautiful became sexually harassing. It was all so much bullsh*t and because of it the manners I was raised to have are gone when it comes to women. I treat them and speak too them exactly as I would a man, never hold a door open for them or offer an courtesy I would not offer a man. Of course I have been criticized for this (by women). I am told I am “not sensitive to women”.
I don’t care. As I said, equal is equal and if it is not TOTAL equality then it is not in any way equal.
No one is advocating a return of the draft. This is all about registering and it makes perfect sense. Even if the combat for women thing is as I believe ridiculous on its face because woman simply lack the physical attributes to be able to effectively carry out the role of a combat soldier, they can be assigned to duties which free up men who than can go into combat.
There is NO reason in my view that every single American should not serve their country for at least 2 yrs. No exceptions, no deferments, no excuses...none.
