The only reason Israel includes women is because it's a small place with a relatively small population compared to Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, etc..

ISRAEL = 8.3 million people

IRAN = 78.5 million people

Even Israel does not put women in frontline combat roles.

They tried it once, briefly. Learned it was impractical for a whole host of reasons, and have never tried it again.
