This is a question I’ve had: If someone comes to the US already infected with Zika, and is bitten by a mosquito here (any mosquito) can that mosquito further transfer Zika?

No.

Zika isn't life threatening. The link to birth defects is precarious at best. This is being stirred up to terrify the gullible. This is the "Never let a crisis go to waste!" crowd in action.
