The new chevy trucks are steer by wire and when that doesn’t work right you can kiss your a$$ goodbye! Friend of a friends Denali did it to many times, and had it towed to the dealer. Service manager drove it for a while and had it happen to him! Chevy bought it back.

Bad news for women in flannel shirts.

I know that's the reputation Subarus have in the lower 48 (our lesbian neighbors when we lived in VA Beach had one), but here in AK they are pretty popular cars with everyone for their winter driving characteristics.

“Amazing considering how little force it actually takes to turn the steering shaft with power steering.”

It takes more effort now than it did on cars made in the sities which had power steering. I used to spin the wheel with the tip of one finger. I hated driving some of them because the steering was too light and easy, people used to complain of no “road feel”.

Turning the steering wheel may have no effect on the direction of the wheels, increasing the risk of a crash.

This is exactly how the electorate feels about congress.

Absofreakinglutely Correct!
