Levin needs to get over his TDS. I haven't listened to him since he trashed #NeverTrump people one day and the next day had joined them. He's lost all credibility.

I briefly heard Levin yesterday, first time in months, although I’ve seen references to his behavior on FR since.
Yesterday, he was completely irrational, filled with hatred, thinking he was making some sort of points but I quickly saw he was searching for any loose pretext from which to launch a tirade against Trump.
For his sake, I hope he gets himself straightened out.

Levin says that Trumps trade policies will lead to economic misery.
What the heck does he think is going on now?
To: Rockitz
Same for me.
He has gone full Glenn Beck

What’s a levin? Is that some kind of stomach ailment or maybe a cancer?
To: Rockitz
He idolizes Reagan but wasn’t Reagan himself a protectionist especially when he dealt with Japan and their auto exports in the early eighties?

You discovered exactly how much influence you have over the American voter, Mark, and it’s going to go even lower now.
You no longer serve a beneficial purpose to America. You have become malignant.
It’s time for America to turn her back to you.

We had essentially no trade between us and Red China between 1950 and 1990. We did okay during those years. Food, fuel and military parts manufacture are three things any major developed nation should want to have regardless of the loss of economic efficiency during peace time.

I used to love Levin. Now I hate everything about him. He is a cheap salesman for the establishment GOP.
To: Rockitz
Sad to see Levin throw his career away like he has.
Once upon a time, he really was “The Great One”, but those days are long gone. I doubt I ever listen to his show again.

Levin modified facts to fit his agenda. What doesn't fit, he simply ignores. Many of his so-called arguments are little more than half-truths and innuendos and some outright lies.

That’s the thing when you go “off the rails” like Levin has....you have no idea what you sound like, or seem like, to the public. The only thing that might snap him out of this is his ratings, and even then, he might be too far gone to get it.
To: Rockitz
Levin has become James Carville with stubble...a sputtering, raving lunatic.

Levin is being consistent. Free trade works, between individuals, between states and even between countries. This tariff stuff sounds good to the economically illiterate but it's bad. While the damage of international trade is concentrated and obvious to the makers of widgets, the effect of cheaper goods coming in means that everybody else has more money left over to spend on other things. Free trade is the greater good. Not to mention once you start a trade war the other side hits back.

I think a “levin” is some kind of inner-thigh rash. Isn’t that what he calls it? “Oh,jeez, can you believe it, I’ve got a levin on my leg.” Damn, I hate when that happens.
To: Rockitz
Levin emotionally warns conservative Americans that Trumps effort to boost American manufacturing represents a kind of existential threat to conservatism. An America that no longer makes things can no longer make things to defend itself from existential threats to our way of life and our security.
That's the BIGGEST threat to Conservatism, and Levin oughtta wise up. Can't stand listening to his show anymore.

There was a time when he was my favorite. I flat can’t stand this loon anymore.
Levin needs to retire or go broke, or both.
Frankly, I no longer hold high views of Rush either.
