I am an obviously new free-per so just wondering what you’re referring to when you say MSM imbeciles, JMHO, and OT. Are you referencing news shows? I’m trying to learn the etiquette and some of the lingo used on this website. Thanks much. It’s easy to overstep while getting my feet wet and my face red. you guys are not shy about setting us newbies straight right off. That’s a good thing.

Lots of good stuff going on here, although my personal preferences run to Lurking (aka reading through threads without necessarily entering into the “conversation”). One word of warning: there may be a bit of an edge to some responses lately, mostly due to some elevated emotions surrounding the political campaign, so don’t take things said in the heat of the moment personally.
(Did I mention that I do a lot of understatement as an excuse for dry wit?)

LOL, just as I read your explanation I remembered it. I probably would have remembered had I read it in some context where it would have jogged my lame memory. OT, = Off Topic, = Of course!!! Stupid me.
I also agree on the lurking and the Sunday Thread. I usually don’t comment on other topics during the week although I too kind of lurk to see what’s being posted and talked about. It allows me to use the source for information rather than the FR website.
