Former Chief Psychiatrist at Johns Hopkins Has Bad News for Caitlyn Jenner

Dr. Paul R. McHugh, former psychiatrist in chief for Johns Hopkins Hospital, has an opinion about former Olympic athlete Bruce Jenner’s recent announcement that is sure to upset the many crusading for the transgender movement.
McHugh not only believes that changing sexes is biologically impossible, he also believes those identifying themselves as transgender actually have a mental disorder.
McHugh, author of six books and over 125 peer-reviewed medical journal articles, wrote in a Wall Street Journal piece that surgery is not a solution for those wishing to live as the opposite sex.
McHugh wrote that these people believing they can choose their sex suffer from a “disorder of assumption.”
In the piece, he also quoted a study claiming that transgendered people undergoing reassignment surgery are 20 times more likely to commit suicide than non-transgendered people. (H/T BizPac Review)
McHugh also said that while Hollywood and the mainstream media promote transgenderism as normal, they are doing no favors to these people by treating their “confusions” as a right rather than treating them as a mental disorder that deserves treatment and prevention.
The doctor considers the transgendered person’s “assumption” that they are “different than the physical reality of their body “a disorder similar to someone suffering anorexia nervosa.
McHugh claims that pro-transgender advocates do not want to accept the fact that studies indicate between 70 and 80 percent of children who express transgender feelings lose such feelings over time.
Changing sexes is impossible, according to the doctor and all transgendered people do is “become feminized men or masculinized women.”
In addition, those who had sexual reassignment surgery and felt satisfied with the results of that surgery fared no better in their psycho-social adjustments than those who didn’t have surgery.
Because of these studies, Hopkins stopped doing sex-reassignment surgery, the doctor said.
While certain people will disagree with Dr. McHugh’s statements, more will probably agree. But the liberal media will likely try to smother those who find such transitions troubling and embrace actions that add to the moral decay of our country.
I remember people saying about homosexual marriage, “Oh, let them marry, then we can quit hearing about it all the time.”
Well, I think even before the ink was dry on the SCOTUS decision on same sex marriage, the transgender “issue” suddenly flooded the news cycles and we’ve been inundated with it ever since.
I’m sure that once the transgender “crisis” is resolved with it being forced with legal intimidation, just like same sex marraige was, then what will be the next abomination, rather - “crisis” - that will need to be brought to fore - open pediphilia??

I do know that while it is useful to predict the future by looking at the past, it is not really accurate because sooner or later the variables change.
I believe we are at the end game of the cultural war, and while one side believes they won, it is now clear that the opposition never had any representation.

Obama is following the liberal playbook to change America’s mores and values by imposing their beliefs on children who will hold those beliefs and values as adults.
That is how they changed the view of homosexuality in one generation and that is how Obama is determined to change the view of cross dressing and other sexual deviancy.
Liberals despise and resent those who think differently than they do.
They threw off the stigmas of the past, such as unwed motherhood, collecting welfare, homosexuality and dope smoking, only to stigmatize normality in their place.

He resents the remaining stigma attached to homosexuality and other deviate sexual behavior.
That is why he has been determined to force homosexuality on America for the last 7 years.
And that is why he has now turned to mainstreaming transsexualism by forcing us to accept transsexuals in every walk of life but especially in the schools.
Obama knows that children taught to accept sexual deviancy at an early age will find it “normal” the rest of their lives.
And he will have changed the culture just as liberals havee already changed the national view of homosexuality.
I hope you’re right. And it’s fine with me if this country is now a tinder-box. As long as insanity like faggot-marriage and transgender bathrooms is the law of the land, this whole sick, perverted nation can indeed burn to the ground, for all I care.

Well, they sure haven’t messed up with their timing so far. Each time they pull the next cultural enormity there’s never enough folks that will really fight. It’s either luck or they just can read the culture better than conservatives.
This latest thing with men in the women’s bathrooms reminds me of the ‘gay marriage’ thing 15 or 20 years before it was just imposed like it was really no big deal or whatever. That we are even having this insane argument now is a huge indicator that things are really grim, and will probably be even grimmer in 15 or 20 years.
