I don’t agree. America is a tender box, ready to explode. All it is going to take is a spark.
Just where that spark will come from, I don’t know.
I do know that while it is useful to predict the future by looking at the past, it is not really accurate because sooner or later the variables change.
I believe we are at the end game of the cultural war, and while one side believes they won, it is now clear that the opposition never had any representation.
Our “leaders” whether be politicians, educators, judges, entertainment, and the church have all been pretending to fight for us.
Look how quick all this has come about without any real resistance. It took a century to get us to this place.
To use the frog in the pot analogy, the frog (us) have just began to realize the full nature of the changes our nation has undergone the past decade.
Push back is coming, all it needs is a strong leader that the people can focus on (I don’t believe that will be Trump).
It just may be some unknown person out there who stands up and says they are “mad as hell and they are just not going to take it anymore.”
Well, they sure haven’t messed up with their timing so far. Each time they pull the next cultural enormity there’s never enough folks that will really fight. It’s either luck or they just can read the culture better than conservatives.
This latest thing with men in the women’s bathrooms reminds me of the ‘gay marriage’ thing 15 or 20 years before it was just imposed like it was really no big deal or whatever. That we are even having this insane argument now is a huge indicator that things are really grim, and will probably be even grimmer in 15 or 20 years.
