I live in the country (northern New England).

The loss of employment for former industrial workers and their children is a catastrophe, as is the chronic inflation which robbed their labor of value before it disappeared.

It’s fueling the so-called “heroin crisis”, and tons of other social pathology. These people are good folks and hard workers, but they aren’t going to become video game writers or Facebook docents.

They need a place to go to work where, if you show up on time and do what the supervisor asks, you do OK. They need a school where if they learn a trade, work hard, and have average or above intelligence, you can make a good life for themselves and their kids.

Globalists and globalism has these people in the crosshairs. 100% of them voted for Trump or Sanders in February. If these people are to be crushed, there is no America, just a province of the United Colors of Benneton.

Wake up America.

A big part of the issue here is that the definition of “middle class” has been defined upward so much that the term almost doesn’t even have any meaning anymore. Most of what is considered the “middle class” these days is really a wealthy upper class. The middle class is disappearing, but not everyone is falling into poverty. A sizeable portion of that group has become the modern bourgeois class.

Same thing here 3,000 miles away. In our case in the Pacific NW, Oregon specifically, it was the federal government and the environmentalists that took out our middle class families with their save the spotted owl meme.

Mills closed down, forests burning up due to poor mgmt, not thinning, not harvesting, not replanting when they do burn. Insane forest mgmt policies, now the owls are getting killed in the environmentalists and democrats windmills. And the mill workers are being killed by heroin.

Jim, I have only read so far up to your #17 but I KNOW, to a moral certainty, that your #17 will be the most accurate post on this entire thread. My compliments!

May God bless you and yours!
