Democrats Try to Outlaw Trump’s Muslim Immigration Ban

Love him or hate him, Donald Trump has certainly turned American politics on its head. Has it ever happened before in American history that a political party began to frame legislation against an opposing candidate’s proposals before he was even elected – much less one whose election was as inconceivable as the mainstream media would have us believe about Donald Trump? Yet that is exactly what the Democrats are doing: Rep. Don Beyer (D-VA) is spearheading a bill that would block a President Trump from instituting the temporary halt on Muslim immigration into the United States that he has proposed.

“It’s very narrow in scope,” says Beyer of his Freedom of Religion Act. “We’re not going to discriminate when it comes to immigration based on religion.” He added that his bill was intended to “appeal to hope rather than fear.” In our pusillanimous and puerile age, “fear” is not just a weakness of character, but a moral flaw: if you fear being beheaded or blown up by Islamic jihadists, you’re an evil person. And to be sure, fear is never to be encouraged or given into, but its opposite is not hope, it’s courage and resoluteness.

Beyer is not offering courage or resoluteness. He is proposing a ban on using someone’s religion as a reason for blocking them from entering the country based on the politically correct fiction that Islamic jihad terrorism has nothing to do with Islam, and that therefore to be concerned about jihad terrorists entering the country along with peaceful Muslim refugees is simply a manifestation of bigotry, racism and “Islamophobia.”

FBI Director Comey said he doesn’t have enough agents to follow any more terrorists. These people cannot be vetted, there are no records.

Why did the 5 richest Muslim nations refuse to take one refugee? Because of terrorism. Trump is right, Boston Marathon terrorists came in as refugees. Americans are sick of being murdered on the altar of political correctness.

There is the fact that two thirds of the Muslim people living in Pakistan believe death is the correct penalty for leaving Islam. I for one, do not want one of those people in America. How is that for a litmus test! Anyone who thinks that Salman Rushdie should die - also barred for life from this nation. These are violent people, and Islam is a very violent religion. They have no First Amendment, and they never will, and when they get a majority in America they will demolish the Bill of Rights, even before the Democratic Party will.

The Muslim Brotherhood has just burned 40 Christian churches in Egypt, and the Muslims cheered. Obama says nothing but cries about Muslims having their feelings hurt by Americans.

Why are Muslims demonizing every other religion that they confront, in every nation on Earth. They are killing Christians, Jews and other religious people in every nation from China to Cameroon. When they run out of other religions, then they kill other Muslims. They are a blight are free people everywhere, and Obama just has to stop saying Bush did this. He makes no sense because he refuses to see the real reason, it is Islam.

They need a reformation, and the West cowering in silence to the worst elements of Islam will not bring it. The free world must come together and demand this of Islam and stop acting like this violence does not exist.

Let’s just ban all immigration. We’ve got too many people and not enough jobs.

Actually, we used to change the rate of immigration into this country. We would have large numbers of immigrants, followed by a lesser number. This was to give the large group a chance to assimilate.

In the 60's and 70's this changed and we began pulling in large numbers constantly, without a resting point for assimilation.

I'm guessing that this changed when the Left decided "assimilation" was racist, or something. I think we need to go back to that earlier way of doing immigration; IOWs, WE control the immigration. It is not allowed to just continue to flow at such high levels constantly.

“Let’s just ban all immigration.”

We did just that, from 1924 to 1965. I’m all in favor of us doing it again.

One in seven people in this country were born elsewhere. That’s the highest percentage of foreign born residents in American history. It’s an invasion by any other name.

Let me see if I got this straight. I can start the Western Civilization Must Die religion. Spend hundreds of years trying to destroy Western civilization. Have religion members launch numerous attacks on Western Civilization killing thousands of people. And you-all must accept our infiltrators to the west just because I call it a religion. In that scenario, the west will not survive for much longer.
