I seem to remember that town mentioned frequently during some Organized Crime hearings back when Congress investigated organized crime.
But then again, today any congressional investigation into organized crime would be a conflict of interest
No, that was Waukegan. Wilmette has never had the Mob. But Charles Percy’s daughter was killed there. And Tony Rezko, the guy who funneled money to Obama lived there before he went to jail. Ann Margret and Rock Hudson came from there. As did Fallout Boy.

Oh I could add Bill Murray who grew up there and lived there in the 1990s for several years taking care of his mother.
Rahm and his brother grew up there. Charton Heston grew up there. Rainn Wilson from the office grew up there. Christie Hefner was born there. Billionaire Lester Crown lives there, as well as Cubs owners the Ricketts brothers. Oh remember Sargent Shriver.
There are far more people, Olympic gold medalists, pro sports players all over the place. Lots of professors and businessmen. And I guess Sinead was there as well.
