Yes, they did EVERYTHING...lied, played VERY dirty, stole Trump's words/ideas, sent out nasty/offensive mails, pestered people for money, did psych programs on their supporters, sent stuff to NON-SUPPORTERS, grabbed delegates from others ( still is ), took a FAUX presidential oath of office given by CRAZY Glenn Beck, and much more.
He LOST, it's over, he's finished, over, done, the crumbs of burnt toast !

Please spare me the rational. He was the second best funded candidate in the race; he had the highest paid and most qualified campaign operatives; he had the best ground game in politics and his campaign was still willing to pull dirty tricks on top of it all.
The man lost because Evangelicals and others saw through his act and punished him in the SEC primary and almost every other state that did not caucus. And the voters saw a new leader in Trump.

Were you at the Texas State Republican Convention? If you had been there you would have seen a five minute standing ovation. There is no doubt he will be re-elected to the US Senate.
I don’t know what people are reading in to him saying that. He said “we started a movement”. I take it as a message to his campaign staff and telling them they did a good job. I guess I just don’t see this as some big deal.
I am VERY familiar with Gortner and that's a great comparison. In fact, I've been thinking of Gortner a lot when contemplating Cruz's antics. Interesting that I wasn't the only one.

If Cruz does not endorse and support Trump to the fullest of his ability, and trump losses, I very much doubt many will be willing to vote for Cruz in 4 years time.
Such an action would show all Cruz really cares about is Cruz. Not a compelling case to vote for him.
I still think he can save himself if he endorses trump on or around the June 7th primary. Most folks will forget his missteps if he makes the right move and follows though on his promise last September.
No, really not. I did vote for Cruz, but it was not an enthusiastic vote. I just try to look at things as objectively as I can.
It is odd. The juxtaposition with the smiling man shooting a gun, then the Security guy with the earpiece looking around, is bizarre.
