There’s a different way to look at this.
Crazy people ARE affected by the surrounding culture.
The manifestations of madness follow fads.
Back in the 19th-early 20th century it was a trope that madmen would imagine they were Napoleon, or a Napoleon-like character. This is no longer so it seems, because nobody remembers Napoleon.
I think it natural that crazy people would be affected by the modern popularity of Islamic terrorism. Also, I think, the whole transgender mania.
As a kid I remember those people. They could be proven to be insane because they obviously were not Napoleon.
In this Muslim woman's case, she is a Muslim and has done what Allah and Muhammad would approve.
Is following your religion a sign of insanity?
Islam is the problem, but we won't face up to that, because most Americans cannot fathom the fundamentals of Islam.
We contort our mamby pamby religiious views, and apply it to Islam as if it is a related religion. -Tom
