375 votes in 6 stations is about 60 votes apiece; does anything want to argue it take 4 hours to count 60 pieces of paper ?

I count for a living. No lie. I take inventory of retail outlets. We count clothing stores, hardware stores, grocery stores...you name it. Now every type of store is different, but clothing stores are the most analogous here. When I say count, what I really mean is that we scan merchandise. One at a time. Size, color, style are all captured individually. And the speed at which we scan these items is recorded. In a typical clothing store, the average counter can count 500 pieces an hour. Some can count 1000. 300 is slow. 300 is five per minute. 300 would get you fired. What you describe is not slow. It is criminal.
