Bump
“I would put a lot of pressure on China because economically we have tremendous power over China,” he said in the interview in his office on the 26th floor of Trump Tower in Manhattan.”
A lot better approach than what Albright did.
Ignoring the fact that Cameron, unprovoked, called Trump "stupid." All Trump said in retaliation is that given Cameron's rudeness, prospects for a good relationship don't look good. All the insults were leveled by Cameron. But the Clinton campaign doesn't care about truth, obviously.
No reason to talk to the madman and falsely increase his legitimacy.
Bad move to say this.
“Trump...wants to renegotiate climate accord “
He doesn’t need to renegotiate it, he needs to repudiate it and then ignore it.
Looks like he is setting up a good cop / bad cop scenario where he talks to them and forces China to be the bad cop. Who knows, better than sitting around continuing the status quo that has seen North Korea develop nuclear weapons.
Trump: Hey! Little fat dude. Behave yourself, or ELSE...
I’d be all for it, if the first thing Trump said was “About 20 minutes ago, we vaporized the Pueblo” . . .
Oh great.
If he’s gonnna talk to Kim, he’d better learn to speak Gibberish with a Bellevue accent.
Most the time we need more talking and less bullets
I do see a good Trump/Putin relationship
And he would not bow to any of them.....
“Renegotiate?” not scuttle?
The “Climate Accord” issue should be couched as “You First, China and India”. We’ve cleaned up most of our mess, you do the same, then we’ll talk.
And now South Korea goes under the bus.
“I would speak to him, I would have no problem speaking to him,” he said........But when Madman Albright gave him permission to develop a nuke problem, Clinton was hailed as a statesman?
The real news here is that when Yahoo posted this story they included a complimentary picture of Trump!! They usually try to make him look snarky.
Previous administrations have insisted that they would only meet with others when confronting North Korea. The idea was that they did not want to meet Kim as a peer.
But with Trump, this may work out pretty well. I would love to be a fly on the wall at that meeting. I suspect that Trump will brush the State Department flacks out of the way and DICTATE to Kim. That is what should have been done a long time ago.
Battle of the haircuts? :)
