why do I think this is a made up story. I am sure that there are some true conversions but I bet the facts of the story are made up.

Precious few followers of Satan / Allah ever convert to A Biblical faith tradition because they get marked or even killed by their fellow Moslems - also they’re taught from birth that the Bible has been bastardized and so is not a trustworthy document. Also of course that their Koran supcedes the Bible at any event. God bless the priests and pAstors who do find some converts! ( on a second note, I pray any conversions are more “real” than say the “cover” “The Reverend” Wright appears to supply Moslems.!)

Why the reference to “Baptists”? Baptists weren’t mentioned in the article.
The article specifically excludes Baptists, as we don’t believe conversion takes place through baptism. Conversion is done through a decision to accept Christ as Savior. Baptism is an ordinance that follows conversion, to make a profession of faith to others.
So do I. Now the headlines will speak of Christian terror attacks.
European churches are empty today having lost generations of parishioners to secular humanism. Why would these same churches attract immigrants in significant numbers?
This sounds like low substance fluff story from a media incapable of performing real, and objective, reporting.
The fact that the conversions are few in number may mean that a certain amount of instruction is taking place first. The others may still be learning. One can hope and pray.
Pastor JD has mentioned that his personal belief is that his people (Arabs) will become converts, although I think he was looking farther ahead in the future.
Even ONE conversion is a cause for rejoicing by the angels.

I read reports that many of them claim to convert so that they will get asylum, claiming they can’t be sent back because they will be persecuted.
