Congress?

If 25% of the payouts are fraudulent, the only reasonable action is to repeal the EIC.

I bet if it came out of the IRS salaries they’d find a way to stop int in weeks, if not days.

Then fire the sob and shut down the IRS until it can be audited. Fire ALL extraneous personnel and rip the phone lines out and sell all the furniture and computers.

The IRS is an agency full of corruption and evil!

No resources to stop a multi billion dollar scam. Yet the IRS seemed to have plenty of resources to audit conservative groups.

But by God if you put the wrong miles driven they will find you and prosecute you.

Nothing more government and more money can’t fix.

powerless? bull

HHS already knows which children are in need. Terminate the program as part of the IRS. To obtain the credit, fill out a separate application to submit to state level HHS, which will include each child’s social security number, name of school (in America) the child attends, letter from school/HeadStart program attesting the child is has been reviewed for and is eligible for free lunch programs, (alternately, letter from pastor for homeschooled children), physical address of each child and each child’s parent(s) as well as the parent/caretaker’s social security number.

Problem solved.

Take the fraudulent payments out of the retirement funds set aside for IRS employees.

"If 25% of the payouts are fraudulent, the only reasonable action is to repeal the EIC."

"That would be too easy! The pervert-in-chief wouldn’t sign it."

It’s good to see patriots pointing the finger at corrupt Congress.

Note that not only have the states never delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to make vote-winning laws to redistribute wealth, Congress arguably redistributing state revenues that it stole with unconstitutional federal taxes, but even though Congress has the constitutional authority to override an Obama veto of a bill to repeal this law (1.7.2), I don’t see corrupt Congress doing so.

“Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States.” —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

Remember in November !

When patriots elect Trump, they also need to elect a new, state sovereignty-respecting Congress that will not only work within its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers to support Trump’s vision for America, but also put a stop to unconstitutional federal taxes as evidence by redistribution of stolen state revenues.

Note the such a Congress will also probably be willing to fire state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices.

“the IRS doesn’t have the resources to police the fraudulent payments.”

Too busy undermining conservative 501 c 3’s.

I’d ask the idiot:

Q - Remind us how much is lost to this fraud?
A - $15.6 Billion
Q - And why can’t you stop it?
A - The IRS doesn’t have the resources to police the fraudulent payments.
Q - Remind us how much is lost to this fraud?

Rinse & Repeat until the embarrassment sets in.

The point of telling everyone the IRS is powerless to stop the EITC fraud, is to encourage more EITC fraud.

Apparently, the IRS thinks 15 billion is too low.
