In many situations that may not be possible.
I believe the only thing that would work is to Louisville slugger them into shutting up.
See my reply #38, below.
I think The Uncle Tom Party is a great idea. Turn the tables on them for a change.
I like that (”ghazy”); as a NJ supporter of Christie I’m tired of this fabricated “Bridgegate” crap. On the anniversary they had some whiny old lady on the news talking about the traffic as though she was splattered by the blood from people jumping out of the World Trade Center. The distortions now mention the story as the closing of the George Washington Bridge (which never happened), and it still has not been tied to Christie himself.
I also want to return some old words to our vocabulary: homeless, McJobs, unemployed, jobless. These words have been deleted from the public discourse since Obama was deemed “too black to fail” (which happened the night of his election in 2008)...
.... they will start to be embarrassed into shutting up

I have never yet met a Leftist/Liberal who could be embarrassed by anything ... they have no shame at all. BUT there’s always a first time & maybe somebody on the thread will come up with a winner.
If you haven’t seen this yet, watch this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCcp36n2cDg
Milo Yiannopoulos, Steven Crowder and Christina Hoff Sommers at UMass
All three of these people have picked up the task to teach, and if not teachable - to mock the left and to use their words and phrasing back at them.
Milo is exceptionally gifted at this, Steven Crowder is great at it too (and he’s a FReeper)
You can’t fight progressive liberals with sane arguments, you need to talk to them in their insane language. To throw their jargon back at them, to confuse them, to mock them by copying their rhetoric, re-packaged, back at them.
A few weeks back someone here posted that UMASS video, I’ve pretty much watched all of Milo’s videos since. Crowder’s too.
