Primed to Fight the Government
Washington Post ^ | May 21, 2016 | Kevin Sullivan

Those in the movement call themselves patriots, demanding that the federal government adhere to the Constitution and stop what they see as systematic abuse of land rights, gun rights, freedom of speech and other liberties.

Law enforcement officials call them dangerous, delusional and sometimes violent, and say that their numbers are growing amid a wave of anger at the government that has been gaining strength since 2008, a surge that coincided with the election of the first black U.S. president and a crippling economic recession.

“...demanding that the federal government adhere to the Constitution “

That’s radical?

The Founding fathers are spinning in their graves.

If they weren’t white guys, this article would have never seen the light of day. It’s all good to carry in the hood or the mosque though.

They reserve the right to tell us what it means.

On another subject: These armed groups are but a small portion of those prepared to fight.

There are millions of men who are determined to not be part of a group that can be infiltrated, isolated and destroyed.

Or, they meet and plan with only their immediate family and childhood friends they know they can trust...never growing the group.

Millions of small cells...1-5 people...most with military experience.

And all the tools they need.

It was a nice set-up to paint them as racists by referring to ‘the election in 2008 of America’s first black president.’ It’s not because he’s a tyrant is because of racism.

Oh...those subversives that support that pesky Constitution and the always troublesome Rule of Law. How dare they question their betters”.

I won’t read the entire article since I don’t want to support the Washington Post, but the excerpt was more than enough to get my blood pressure up.

Another propoganda piece, inferring that those who are dissatisfied with the arc of recent events in this country are only so because of a racist dislike of Obama. The author also tars those who dislike the current leftist government as violent and dangerous, without proof, of course.

One can only hope the author lives to see the day his children fall victim to the very culture their father defends with his lies and smears.

"I don't want to support the Washington Post"

This article is also published at Stars and Stripes Mag.

I tried to read it earlier in the day but I have exceeded the number WaPo articles that I am allowed to read during May without subscribing, so they wouldn't let me in.

So I typed the article title into a google news search which turned up the Stars and Stripes, where I read it.

This racism ploy sickens me. At the height of its powers, the “racist” Tea Party helped elect two black congressmen in the South. The liberal response? They were not “authentically” black. White liberals think they have the right to tell black people whether they are “authentically” black, and to me that’s about as racist as it gets.

"...demanding that the federal government adhere to the Constitution..."

Senator McCain has ignored the federal government's duty to protect our borders...Senator McCain is part of the federal government....he has been derelict for nearly 30 years. Senator Flake is following in McCain's footsteps. Together those two men are ignoring their sworn duty to defend and protect the Constitution and the American people AND their constituents in ARIZONA. We in Arizona have let this Senator and Jr. Senator Flake, "step over the line and rule against us.....it is no wonder McCain if fighting for his office.... he is too old; a proven RINO and as part of the federal government he is hopefully finished. He did nothing to stop Obama's purge of the state's laws along with Sheriff Joe Arpaio for starters.

As far as Law enforcement officials in this state, AZ, we have the best.....they would never call patriots NUTS.
