Around 60,000 Muslims took part in Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem yesterday, and among them were 300 residents of Gaza aged 50 and above who were let in by Israel through the Erez crossing.
Amid the large turnout Sheikh Ekrima Sa’id Sabri, chairperson of the Supreme Muslim Council and former Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and “Palestine” for the Palestinian Authority (PA), gave a sermon in which he called to ban all non-Muslims from the Temple Mount.
Sabri in his sermon claimed that the Palestinian Arabs were expelled from their land by force and they “are firm in (wanting) to return to it.” He emphasized that “the campaign against the occupation still continues.” …

The temple mount was built by the Jews. These slime have no right to even be there.
Israel needs to do what other nations have done: nationalize ALL holy sites, churches and mosques. ALL of them become exclusive property of Israel, and no foreign power, religion, or vested interest has any more claim to them at all.
Once Israel does this, it can be generous, leasing these sites back to those who use them. But ONLY on condition of “good behavior”, both them directly, and by those who visit the sites, otherwise they will “lose their lease”, which can then be given to somebody else who is well behaved.
There is nothing radical in this idea at all. Saudi Arabia does exactly this right now, and there is no protest about it at all.
Someone posted a link here at FR a week or two ago that had pictures of this “Grand mosque” from the 1800s, it was an unkempt ruin.
The only “occupiers” ARE the Arabs, who invaded the Land of Israel — which the Koran itself says belongs to the Jews — 1,400 years ago. They violent horde that remain are what is left of the invaders.

Indeed, I’ve long thought that the troops that took the Temple Mount made a mistake not destroying the different Mosques up there. They could have claimed fog of war.
It is true that the Qur’an affirms Israel’s Jewish ownership and the Jew’s special standing in God’s sight. However, we must remember that the earlier portions of the Qur’an have been nullified by the later ones. Thus, any confirmation of Biblical truth found therein must be rejected by faithful Muslims.

The former claim leaves out the fact that they tried to expel and/or murder the Israelis by force prior to their expulsion.

They're at war. This war will not end until somebody wins.
Based on the track record so far, I wouldn't bet on the Arabs. However, the principled refusal of the Israelis to kill Arabs until they give up does concern me a bit.
All I meant was that I was not going to expect the offending side to tell the whole story. But yes, war is war.
