What a complete nightmare for the whole family. That resort should know it is in their best interests to resolve this case asap to the family’s satisfaction. You don’t want people thinking your resort is guarded by TSA level cops who overeact to this extent. Her husband should never have left her alone with those cops, but most law-abiding people don’t think defensively, until something this preposterous happens to them. They haven’t found the right lawyer yet, keep looking.

Given the article, I’m pretty sure a couple of volunteers will pop up to take her case.
Especially if they can get a settlement from the resort for not warning people not to let pre-teens drive the golf courses or other options for someone who might have been inebriated to get back within the rules.
