Well, which is it? Did this plane stop in Eritrea and Tunisia that day as well, or not?? This is the first I’ve read that it originated in Egypt and ONLY went to Paris and “back” to Egypt.

I am waiting for an airline to offer, for a fare premium, a Muslim free flight. It would be extremely profitable and would attract almost all business travelers.

A few years back, pre-911, I was a regular traveler to Cairo. IAD-LHR-CAI (Brit Air). The day of my departure I would take a hotel limo to the airport, then my escort would take my bags (carry-on only) and passport and we would moon-walk past screening and the ticket counter and passport control, and he would drop me and my bags at the executive lounge. He would then go to the ticket counter and get me checked in and get my ticket and bring it to me. My bags were never inspected nor did I see an immigration guy. Cost? About $40 US.
