Russell, 33, was arrested March 9 after police serving a warrant in a sex assault case found a small arsenal of weapons, a gallon plastic bag of pot, anxiety medication and a small amount of methamphetamine at his home. The "small arsenal of weapons" consisted of a total of 12 guns, ranging "from registered handguns to a shotgun and assault-style MP5 and .223-caliber rifles that were not registered."
By that definition, I have a large arsenal of weapons in my home. Good thing I don't have any pot, Xanax or methamphetamines (which could have been prescribed Ritalin for all we know from the article).
No action was ever taken on the sex assault allegations. So basically, the police searched his home, found no evidence to support the assault allegations, found a dozen guns and charged him with felony weapons possession (the drugs resulted in separate misdemeanor charge).

No jail? Too bad. I’d like to see every reality show participant in jail if I had my druthers.

Not to sound too conspiratorial, but this has a peculiar smell to it based on the details in this article. More like payback.
The volume of drugs described here are not worth the paperwork for the police in a city like Las Vegas. Someone wanted to ring this guy's bell.

I dont see the gun violation? Do you have to register your guns in Nevada? Where is the rule requiring gun registration? I guess he has pot. Meth is bad but what was the gun violation? He worked at a pawn shop for Gosh sakes. You think people dont pawn guns that have been sold 12 times? Yikes. Something wrong here . Is this article actually implying that we have to register our guns? That is a lie.

Russell, 33, was arrested March 9 after police serving a warrant in a sex assault case. Russell wasn't arrested on a sex crime allegation, and no charge was filed in that case. "The case will end, with court approval, without any allegation of sexual assault,"Okay. Let me see if I got this straight. He was arrested after being served a warrant in a sex assault case but he wasn't charged with a sexual assault and there will be no allegation of sexual assault.
Would it help me understand this if I was on drugs?

“The History Channel” has declined rapidly and it seems to me that it all began with various programs featuring tattooed guys from Las Vegas.
Pawn Stars was interesting to begin with but it got old pretty soon. A whole bunch of other programs based on reality shops are much worse.
Now they are going to show “Roots” which was and is a travesty on history. Exactly the sort of thing which real historians should point out instead of glorifying the lies.

I don't think we'll see the Chumlee on TV any more. He's toast...and he'll soon be down the public memory hole forever.
He'll end up as a bartender or janitor at some Vegas saloon off-Strip.

There is no requirement to register non-ffa weapons in Nevada.

I visited the store, shortly after the series became popular.
Just an average sized shop of which there are many in LV.
Outside in the parking lot there was graffiti: “we love you Chum Lee”. He was the object of female sympathy.
Chum Lee has had Ringo Starr luck, but he just blew it.

It’s nobody’s business how many guns he has. Any registration or licensing requirement is a clear violation of the right recognized in the second amendment.
