A butcher's sign that said eating his bacon reduced the chance of someone being a suicide bomber has raised a few eyebrows. A photo posted on social media showed a sign up in the window of Jeff Rapley's butchery, Rapley's Midtown Quality Meats, in Narooma on the NSW South Coast. 'Eating two strips of Rapley's award-winning bacon for breakfast reduces your chance of being a suicide bomber by 100 per cent,' the sign read.

I like bacon. Especially with butter, cheese and eggs. Along with black coffee. No toast please.

What? Eggs without toast to dip into the yoke?

What are you, anti American or something....?

yes, you use the toast crust to get every last drop of the egg yolk. You have to wipe the plate clean.

Someone needs to go to American breakfast re-education camp.

My guess: A suicide bomber will take offense at the implication that Muslims are violent and blow up the shop.

Using humor to promote a great product! This will not end happily for the butcher.

The other day my daughter mentioned liking soft boiled eggs because “then you can use toast soldiers”. The term sounded British to me, as she has spent four of the last 10 years in England. I guessed correctly that they were toast cut into strips, perfect for dipping in your hard boiled egg. Meanwhile, her dad will not go near a runny yolk.

Ignorant muslims follow idiocies of “a man becomes what he eats.”

What foods does an Islamic suicide bomber eat? Those foods is what should be avoided!!!

The first time I was in England we were at a tearoom for a late lunch and I ordered a side of baked beans without the toast. They gave me a strange look. Their idea of baked beans is different from mine though.

I have even bought a toast soldier slicer. Makes perfect bread strips every time. You are missing out on the runny egg part with cracked pepper.. YumYum.

“Insensitive but probably accurate.”

Unless you are alone on the Moon, nearly everything you do or say will be ‘sensed’ by someone or something. In all likelihood, something your do or say today will be sensed and objected to by someone or something.

Insensitive in a non-specific context is a useless term. With the proliferation of Perpetually Offended Classes in today’s world, worrying about being “insensitive”, is like worrying about exhaling and contributing to the CO2 buildup in the atmosphere.
