Ryan secures big win with bipartisan Puerto Rico deal
The Hill ^

The bipartisan deal to tackle Puerto Rico’s debt crisis represents Paul Ryan’s first big victory as Speaker.

While the Wisconsin Republican has notched other wins on highway, education and government funding during his short, nearly seven-month tenure, former Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) had a hand in all of those negotiations.

>>“Win” for who? <<

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

This is another globalist banker bailout.

“Bond markets, Mulvaney found, worried that protecting pensions over secured debt could start a dangerous pattern for cash-strapped cities and states.”

RIGHT. They were worried about cash-strapped cities.
What a crock.

Ryan cannot endorse Trump, because Ryan is an enemy of the United States — i.e., globalists uber alles.

Republicans are worse than the Democrats. Bigger liars. Bigger spenders. More destruction in their wake.

Now that the precedent has been set to bail out goverments which cannot manage their finances, it is all but certain that some states will begin to queue up.

Illinois, Michigan, etc. And after them will come the cities like Detroit and several in California.

And almost all of this mischief is caused by overspending on government employees unions and pensions.

“Any idea how his primary is going?”

No, nothing current. I had hoped that Trump would openly support him but he seems to be trying to work with schnozz Ryan.
