That could apply to quite a few other industries too. Mining/minerals, logging, livestock/ranching, agriculture, chemicals, and heavy/high tech manufacturing just to name a few. The assault on energy production and utilization in the US has been going on for some time now.

Global warming/climate change is nothing less than a combination of a shakedown racket and an attempt of a few powerful players to corner the global energy production markets, whether it be coal, oil, gas, hydro, nuclear, wind, solar, ethanol, etc. It doesn’t matter, key players in all of the industries related to the energy sources listed are involved.
