Idiots like Shep think we will just ask Mexico nicely to pay for the wall and they will say no and that will be that. They do not understand that sometimes people pay for things they don’t want to. Mexico will not willingly pay for the wall, but they can be persuaded. Mexico depends on trade with the U.S. and there are a lot of ways to tax or tariff that or threaten to do so to get Mexico in line.
We need to stop funding we periodically give Mexico to “help U.S. secure the border and stop smuggling” which of course they do not do. We will need that money to actually do the job ourselves. All taxpayer money needs to be taken away from radical groups like La Raza.
If we deport illegals we will save a lot of money that is now paid out as Earned Income Tax Credit payments- generally thousands of dollars to each family. We will save a lot of money paid out for illegals in Education, Social Services, Healthcare, Courts, Jails, and Prisons to name a few.
The most popular idea is to tax money sent to Mexico by workers here. There are a lot of ways to get the wall paid for.
