She has repeatedly said she asked “State” if she could do it this way and ‘they’ gave her permission.

Who was it that said that? I want a name.

Or... since SHE was head of ‘State’ [The State Department] did she ask HERSELF for permission?

The ONLY thing she learned of value from law school was how to skirt the law.

She lied. She didn’t ask for permission. From the article:

“Despite guidelines to the contrary and never seeking approval, Clinton used mobile devices to conduct official business on her personal email account and private server. She never sought approval from senior information officers, who would have refused the request because of security risks, the audit said.”

I’ll go with the answer of as SOS, she was State. She asked herself and after considering it for all of a nanosecond gave permission.

Seriously, you think she has ever asked for permission for anything in her life? Permission is for subjects, not queens.
