Back in January, 26 states asked the Supreme Court to put a halt to the EPA’s new “Clean Power” Plan based on the extraordinary cost it imposed on states, stress to the power grid and a variety of other factors. The Court agreed to that request, instructing the involved parties to put on the brakes until ongoing litigation made its way through the court system. Unfortunately, EPA chief Gina McCarthy never seemed to get the memo and the agency has continued work on the program, drafting plans to reward states which exceed the mandated targets in carbon emissions and punishing those who do not.
As the Daily Caller reports, two state Attorneys General have now taken the EPA to task, reminding them that they are acting in direct defiance of an order from the Supreme Court.

And what is the penalty for violating a SCOTUS order?
Ethics classes?
Diversity training?
A promotion?
Bump to executive compensation ranks I do believe. We’ll show THEM who’s boss.
How about just ignore the EPA? If they try to come down on a state the state can refute with the fact that the US Constitution does NOT give the authority/power to the fed to police the environment. It will be up to the fed to prove otherwise which it can’t.
I think its cute that the Judicial Branch thinks that the Executive Branch cares about the law.
They don’t give a crap. Only the schmucks must comply with rulings...not them.

Penalty? Easy answer..

Obama and his Administration do not have to obey any court ruling, he and they are above the law in this country. Obama is a perfect representative of Africa, he is third world view and mentality and promotes that view throughout his Admin
SCOTUS is only to be followed when it votes the way Obama wants it voted. Otherwise...

EPA answers to no one.
EPA is answering or responding.
If 26 states were a party to the lawsuit, then 24 states were not a party.
If some or all of these 24 states want to move forward on the Clean Power Plan, then it is only logical that EPA would answer or respond to their request.
So this is really a question as whether the 26 GOP states can tell these other states what to do, or what not to do.
Apparently our Govt is nothing but the unaccountable IRS and EPA
All the elected types just hang around for the Insider Trading and other Govt Benifits.
Oh then the facetime and adulation of the Media, Parties, Fact Finding Trips (Vacations) and really swank parties on the Taxpayer dime.
She don’t have to follow no SCOTUS order .. WHAT YOU TALKING ABOUT WILLIS ..??
