Yep, Newt is the best choice he’s likely to make.
Selecting a General runs contrary to his claim to disentangle from engagements abroad.
Judging from the flak I’ve received here for promoting Newt these last 2 weeks, the only objectors are hard core Trump supporters.
This tells me Newt broadens the base.
But he’s a double edged sword, appealing to conservatives in general, but he’s still got that problem with the socons. To me, he’s old enough he probably won’t have sex scandals, that’s good enough for me.
WRONG......he shrinks/destroys the base.
I think a Trump/Newt would be one of the most formidable President/Vice President duo this Country has EVER seen.
