I forgave Newt a lot. But when he sat with Pelosi to pimp global worming (yeah, worming), it seemed a bridge too far. What does he have to say for himself on that?

The association of Newt with Man Made Climate Change is mostly misinformation. In fact, Newt said that sitting on that couch was the that sitting on a couch with Pelosi was the dumbest thing he’s done in the least few years.

Newt got on the discussion group to add to the global warming controversy from a conservative perspective. “I was trying to make a point that we shouldn’t be afraid to debate the left, even on the environment,” He was never on board with these envioron-weenie bed wetters. He said that global warming is “probably” happening and that there’s no “conclusive” proof of it, or that humans cause it. He’s even suggested that the Earth may be about to move “into a long cooling period.” His mistake was to give a perception that we need change our use of fossil fuels. He was there to use the global warming hysteria to promote innovation such as nuclear power and “green coal,” and discourage Cap and Trade.
