I seem to recall several weeks ago that one of Trump’s staff predicted — rather confidently — that they expect to hit around 1400 going into the convention.

That’s what I would prefer. Trump needs as much cushion as he can get.

Plus there’s over 300 delegates left to win, in NJ, California, Montana, New Mexico and South Dakota.

Trump should be arriving at the convention with around 1500 delegates, too many for them to play games with.
