That is their final game plan at the convention.
1. The rules committee changes the rules to either allow ‘votes of conscious’ and disregards the 1st vote rule bound to the candidate. Or they make a new rule to impede Trump’s formal nomination.
2. The rules committee seeks to disqualify entire state delegations or certain individual delegates based on technicalities.
Not going to happen.
Trump will have more than enough delegates to win on the first ballot.
If it was a contested convention, all bets would have been off.
The GOP is not going to commit political suicide by dumping someone who won the nomination fair and square.
And rank and file Republicans are closing ranks behind Trump.
