It’s thrilling for the passengers landing in SD, flying in between the high rises. I’ve done it in the day time and the night time. Mediterranean climate. Stayed at the Grant Hotel on somebody else’s dime for a week, right after the extensive refurbishing around 1990.

Stayed in Solana Beach for half a summer, and El Cajon for the other half. It was like visiting two different planets.

I really like your idea of an admittance fee for the protesters to get into their area to help cover costs for local PDs. Unfortunately, probably won’t work as they’d be screaming they have a right to free speech. Wonder if any of the localities charge a fee for a permit to protest or parade - if they do, they should perhaps think of increasing it.
