I think Trump thinks he’ll only get a fair deal from a judge is to call them out. He’s probably right!

The trial is a public thing anyway, and if Trump stretches the truth too far in public, it hurts him in the trial. Anyway, I agree with you, calling out the trial, in public, helps the case reach a just resolution.
