I was stationed in South Korea in 1972. I liked to meet with normal people and chat when I had a chance. In one conversation with an older man that had lived through the Japanese occupation we discussed the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. His one question to me was: “Why did you stop at two?” Guess it’s all in your perspective Mr. Obama.
My uncle saw the barbarity that the Japanese dealt upon the people of the Philippines when he was in the Army. He had nothing but visceral hatred toward them until the day he died.
My father was on YMS-389 headed to Tokyo Bay for minesweeping duties when they dropped the bomb. Millions of us wouldn’t be here if they weren’t nuked.

Not that Obama would care but the definitive book that I have read on dropping the bombs on Japan and ending that war is Richard Frank’s book. “Downfall”, deals only with the last 6 months of the war against Japan and how the decision was made.

Obama is laying the ground work for his post-presidency position....World Community Organizer with the Great Satan as his principal target. Now that he’s destroyed the Democrat party, he’ll see it as a promotion.
He will agitate, instigate, divide, mobilize the malcontents and shakedown our country. He will favor Islam at every turn.
And just like any other narcissist, eventually he will overstep. No affirmative action in the rest of the world. He will eventually be reviled and marginalized, perhaps behind bars.

If he means WWII grew out of the "base instinct for domination or conquest" that propelled Japan to "annex" Korea in 1910 and then send military forces into China in 1937, then he is correct.
If in the very same context (which is the only way to read it) he also means that America's decision to drop nuclear bombs on Japan in 1945 arose from humanity’s worst instincts...such as were displayed by Japan's prior actions he is also correct.
But most of us will have to stand on our heads to reach this result.
Can not wait for him to step off the stage. He is the worst president the US has ever had.
People will not pay attention. When he steps off he will be forced to really see how little he accomplished and how hated he really is.

Being assigned to his post-presidential security detail is probably going to be a career breaker for many. Perhaps not if it is only a mandatory 1 week tour for newbies.

Yep - predictable that he ignores that Japan’s atrocities were offensive rather than defensive in nature and screwed with whole populations as they murdered many m ore than the bombs did.
The problem is Obama’s view and opinion of who America is as a country.
America is the BAD .. all other nations are just defending themselves.
Obama’s opinion of America was groomed by his family; Communists, Socialists, Islamists. They all had a hand in telling Obama what a terrible place America is.
Obama only wanted to be President so he could DESTROY America. Until people see that truth .. they will continue to fawn over him.
