They pretty well have to, at this point. They’ve made the law into a mess which can trap just about anybody at just about anybody’s whim.
So far they are not yet in suicide mode where they will actually enter into this mutually assured destruction. Though the Democrat side, especially, is testing it sore.
He’s waiting for the rug to stand on that doesn’t have someone ready to yank it from beneath him, the moment he acts.

Comey is a creature of the oligarchy. He will flap his gums and waves his arms... and do nothing.

There are now so many laws that everyone is guilty of breaking any number of them in the course of a normal day. This way, the statists can use the law against their enemies.
If America is going to be blessed, it needs to back out of that rat trap before it snaps down on its neck.

So I guess it’s just meant as a sharp statement directed at Comey?
FWIW, I saw a state supreme court justice speak a month or so ago. He was questioned directly about Comey and the FBI on this. He worked with Comey in DC in the early 2000s, knows the guy well. He said Comey would take this where the facts indicate.
I hope he is right, and Comey does. The facts appear unequivocal at this point.
I don’t doubt that in your past exposure to Comey you found him a straight arrow guy. But his current boss is a lying, anti-American, muslim snake.
And whether or not Comey DOES actually follow wherever the evidence leads, will depend on whether he’s prepared to go counter to Obunga’s wishes and prosecute Hillary.
You see, I don’t think Hillary will hold still for prosecution while Obunga goes scott free. She knows where all the bodies are buried, and she will use it all, if need be.
Is Comey man enough to open and deal with THAT can of worms?
Again, to be clear, I don’t know Comey, I know a state Supreme Court justice who does. And we’re all about to see on that last.
Same reaction I had to the headline after I read the article looking for a quote from Comey.
Wrong.....Comey and Company will NOT walk out....they want their PAYCHECKS! period.
