California has not built a single new reservoir in over 40 years despite their population doubling in size. Only an environmental extremist would think that is acceptable.

I'm afraid that's not the case...

Diamond Valley Lake was started in 1995

Of course, this lake is fed by the Colorado River aquaduct, and virtually no water has been coming from that source for a few years now.
