By all appearances, the Left seems to approve of the attempt to use violence to stifle free political expression and to coerce its opponents into silence.

The left has always approved of violence to get its way. The issue is not that the left "seems to approve" of the violence, but that the left now feels emboldened in a way that it has not since the 1960s. I think part of the phenomenon is that with Obama, they have come as close as they ever have to realizing their dream of making America into a socialist totalitarian dictatorship. But the support for Trump shows them that the American people are rising up to destroy that dream. Just like cornered animals, these leftists are becoming desperately vicious.

Good article, BTW.

Richard Trumka is a very good example

He used violence on strikes when he was president of the United Mine Workers.

It was terror like the palestinians in that there was no organization to really blame. he always lied

We are the cornered animals. They think they’re being violent when they break some windows and burn a police car, but a day will come very soon when they discover real violence. If Hillary wins the election on court decisions and recounts and “found” ballots, they will see real violence.
