On Saturday a four-year old boy fell into a gorilla enclosure at the Cincinnati Zoo.
Sadly the gorilla, named Harambe, was shot and killed by zoo officials to save the life of the child, sparking outrage on social media.
The most ludicrous of the objections came from those who actually believed the gorilla was killed because of racism.
Conservative author and commentator Mark Dice uncovered some of the most outrageous tweets, including a slew that referred to the child as a “white boy” and one that called the killing an act of “white privilege.”
As Dice pointed out in his video the race of the child was still unknown.

Yelping blacks obviously identifying with gorilla. Can you imagine the outcry if a white person had actually started calling the killing of the gorilla an act of racism? That person would be denounced as a “racist” for implying that gorillas and blacks are the same.

Which you would have to logically assume would have not been shot...because of white privilege....
Screw all of this idiocy, a child (regardless of color) fell into the Gorilla enclosure, The dominant male gorilla took a defensive posture when trying to recover the child.
Result, the life of the child takes presidence. End of story.
And tagging on “Racist” is lunacy, as the word has lost all effect, IMO.

Only man is made in the image of God. Not any of our favorite animals.
It is man's duty to take of God's Creation (and the various critters), but a child was in danger and this was a no brainer. Good shot.
White lives don’t matter.
His negligent minders have not surfaced. They will no doubt sue the Zoo for the tragedy they alone caused.
It matters not whether the boy is white, black, brown or yellow.
USHS, PETA and all the animal rights groups are having a field day with this in raising millions for their scam fund raising.
The animal was put down because it was a genuine threat to a human.

Male gorillas aren’t very gentle with their own young that said I think they were a bit quick on the trigger.

'Course guns aren't allowed in the zoo and apparently there were no real men there that day. Kid was torn apart.
I lay most of the blame on the parents, a little on the zoo.
