Dems Throwing Hillary Under the Bus
PJ Media ^ | June 1, 2016 | Michael Walsh

Posted on 06/01/2016 3:24:14 PM PDT by Kaslin

The Dowager Empress of Chappaqua's doomed campaign begins to creak to a close. Veteran Democrat strategist Doug Schoen has the gory details:

There is now more than a theoretical chance that Hillary Clinton may not be the Democratic nominee for president. How could that happen, given that her nomination has been considered a sure thing by virtually everyone in the media and in the party itself? Consider the possibilities.

The inevitability behind Mrs. Clinton’s nomination will be in large measure eviscerated if she loses the June 7 California primary to Bernie Sanders. That could well happen...

A Sanders win in California would powerfully underscore Mrs. Clinton’s weakness as a candidate in the general election. Democratic superdelegates—chosen by the party establishment and overwhelmingly backing Mrs. Clinton, 543-44—would seriously question whether they should continue to stand behind her candidacy.

There is every reason to believe that at the convention Mr. Sanders will offer a rules change requiring superdelegates to vote for the candidate who won their state’s primary or caucus. A vote on that proposed change would almost certainly occur—and it would function as a referendum on the Clinton candidacy. If Mr. Sanders wins California, Montana and North Dakota on Tuesday and stays competitive in New Jersey, he could well be within 200 pledged delegates of Mrs. Clinton, making a vote in favor of the rules change on superdelegates more likely.

... with Mrs. Clinton’s negative rating nearly as high as Donald Trump’s, and with voters not trusting her by a ratio of 4 to 1, Democrats face an unnerving possibility. Only a month or two ago, they were relishing the prospect of a chaotic Republican convention, with a floor fight and antiestablishment rebellion in the air. Now the messy, disastrous convention could be their own.

Meanwhile, small children and "movement conservatives" unable to face reality are tearing themselves apart over the GOP nomination, which is now settled. Unreal.

There are increasing rumblings within the party about how a new candidate could emerge at the convention. John Kerry, the 2004 nominee, is one possibility. But the most likely scenario is that Vice President Joe Biden—who has said that he regrets “every day” his decision not to run—enters the race.

Mr. Biden would be cast as the white knight rescuing the party, and the nation, from a possible Trump presidency. To win over Sanders supporters, he would likely choose as his running mate someone like Sen. Elizabeth Warren who is respected by the party’s left wing.

You've been reading that here at PJ Media for months now, most recently here.

Heavens help us.

All I see on the news is the Trump University lawsuit -made public by a law firm connected to Hillary - but not one word about Crooked Criminal Hillary and Benghazi, The Clinton Foundation money laundering scheme or her treasonous email scandal.

Shaking my dadgum head.

I don’t think Mrs Bill can afford to drop out. She may be dropped out, though. In the Democrat the poobahs have the say so absolutely and the superdels will fall into line on command.

From what I hear, it’s too late to get on the ballot in most states so Plugs would have to run as a write-in.
Spelling would disqualify most of those votes.

Bahahaha! You can try throwing Hillary under that bus, but she isn't going.

Man: Here's one-
Cart-master: Ninepence.
Old Woman: (feebly) I'm not dead!
Cart-master: (suprised) What?
Man: Nothing! Here's your ninepence....
Old Woman: I'm not dead!
Cart-master: 'Ere! She says she's not dead!
Man: Yes she is.
Old Woman: I'm not!
Cart-master: She isn't?
Man: Well... she will be soon-- she's very ill...
Old Woman: I'm getting better!
Man: No you're not, you'll be stone dead in a moment.
Cart-master: I can't take 'im like that! It's against regulations!
Old Woman: I don't want to go on the cart....
Man: Oh, don't be such a baby.
Cart-master: I can't take 'er....
Old Woman: I feel fine!
Man: Well, do us a favor...
Cart-master: I can't!
Man: Can you hang around a couple of minutes? She won't be long...
Cart-master: No, gotta get to Robinson's, they lost nine today.
Man: Well, when's your next round?
Cart-master: Thursday.
Old Woman: I think I'll go for a walk....
Man: You're not fooling anyone, you know--
(to Cart-master) Look, isn't there something you can do...?
(they both look around)
Old Woman: I feel happy! I feel happy!
(the Cart-master deals the old woman a swift blow to the head with his wooden
spoon. The old woman goes limp.)
Man: (throwing the old woman onto the cart) Ah. thanks very much.
Cart-master: Not at all. See you on Thursday!
Man: Right! All right....

I’m not writing her off until it’s officially over. An electorate that was stupid enough to reelect Obama will gladly elect Hillary.

I hope she edges Sanders in California by half a % or so. I don’t want her replaced in November. I do still think it is likely that the Democrat, even an 11 and a halfth hour replacement for Her Inevitableness wil be declared the winner. The Democrats have a 100% edge in the Illegal population and in the new citizen population whcih they are pumping up in stadiumfuls in strategic locations. The Republican has to win by a large enough margin that the whole population sees the fraud and that is more likely with Mrs. Bill, I think. Nevada showed that the primary or convention vote will probably turn out to be what is desired by the Party no natter what.

I dunno, I’m sort of hoping at this point that Hillary stays as the nominee. Biden/Warren seems like a tougher ticket to beat than Hillary/[anyone].

Dems will just work double and triple time to make sure Sanders doesn’t win California.

Don’t be surprised that “the race is too close to call” then voila! new votes found and surprise surprise CA goes to Hillary after all. ===> All will be well in Dems’ world.

The Sandernistas would have kittens if that happened and burn Philly to the ground.

I have the Bic lighter concession.

If Bernie does this well only to lose to Biden who isn’t even running, that will tear the party apart. That’s like nominating Romney.

I think bernie will go rogue if either the hildabeast or someone else gets nominated. He is too enamored with himself now and won't give up.

I live in a deep blue town in a deep blue city (Pittsburgh) and on my daily 6 mile walk there are at least 25 Bernie signs and only two crooked hildabeast signs, they're in the same yard and both actually are crooked.

“From my vantage point, I would see Trump rescuing the nation from a Plugs presidency. There is NO indication that Joe Biden is popular, or would be welcomed as an option. He has tried before, and failed miserably. “

Agree. But as an echo of the beloved 0bama and likely heir and vindicator of HRC’s legacy, plus the Dem revulsion over Trump, I could see such a ticket winning.

Look, the Sanders people will react to having their fought for candidate threatened with a new uncampaigned contender, just like no Trump supporter wants Mr. French in the way. The Dems will actually be met with opposition from their own kind for once.

Not gonna happen. She’s got too much of the party Establishment on her side. And if anybody’s going to lose and walk out of the convention, it won’t be them.

The Hildabeast signs are crooked because when a man pees he can’t hit both sides of the sign equally.
