When Trump calls a reporter a "sleaze," most Americans know exactly what he is talking about. We have often talked about it on American Thinker and, judging by our commentators, many Americans truly hate the media. Other than our corrupt Congress, the media rate as consistently the most hated institution in this country.
The press lie constantly, and their lies are exposed every day by conservative radio and opinion sites. Lying to the public is a basic betrayal of a vital survival function in a democratic republic, a true stab in the back. It is a husband betraying his wife, and a father abandoning his children. A soldier going over to the enemy. The chief justice of the United States contradicting his own ruling on the same question a few months later. The president colluding with sworn enemies in a time of war.

Donald Trump spoke for all of us.
Most of the media are godless liars. A media research study conducted 20 years ago found that 94% of them do not worship God, and I suppose the figure today is closer to 99%.
Trump called him out for exactly what he was.
No one trusts or believes the "press" any more. They have lost all their credibility. The good news is that when they attack Trump they are inoculating him against their own attacks. He just gets stronger.

Liberalism is based on false history, myths, and outright lies. It is a mental high-wire act to maintain these failed beliefs, requiring constant affirmation.
That’s where the media comes in, and that’s why it will never change. There’s a market for what they sell-confirmation, affirmation for the followers of the church of liberalism. The liberal audience literally craves that which the media provide. It’s a salve for the wound, an elixir for the sickness.
We’ve been exposing them for decades, exposing them merely acknowledges their contribution to the cause. They’re like a weed, an ineradicable weed. It’ll grow right back as long as the left maintains its hold on education and the culture.
Now the First Principle of Journalism is "Protect Liberals (Democrats) by any means possible."
The Second Principle is like unto the First: "Destroy Conservatives (Republicans) by any means possible."
They don’t worship God today, even. They worship barrack obama, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, and Government. In that order.

Addendum to post # 8: In the Book of Revelations of the Holy Bible, it reads in part, All liars shall have their part in the lake of fire. I hope that the members of the media get a double share.

Equally evil to their lies are the omissions, the facts they leave out and the stories they don’t tell.
If you look at FreeRepublic every day you know the press is often “willfully ignorant”. They lose their curiosity and don’t pursue stories that make liberals look bad.
I had a friend who was the lone conservative on the local school board. His remark about a newspaper article regarding the previous days school board meeting was “They must have been at a different meeting than I was.”
Not one of these press scumbags thanked Trump for raising the money…

When they lose their reason for being there, they pivot to other insignificant stories in hopes of creating controversy. They do not thank Trump for clarifying the “controversial” vet money issue. They do not go after the person(s) who created the controversy or amplified the controversy. They do not thank Trump for raising the money.
