Ted Cruz For Senate
The Federalist ^ | June 3rd, 2016 | By Sean Saffron

Posted on 06/04/2016 11:07:51 AM PDT by Mariner

Lost in all the back and forth of the Republican presidential primary is a profound question for the conservative movement: “Whither Ted Cruz?” Let us not overlook a conservative powerhouse, with a proven track record of organizing actual voters across a wide swath of states, expertise at small-dollar fundraising, and the discipline to endure months of heckling by Donald Troll and his oafish minions.

Is no one else excited to see the next chapter for Cruz? If he so chooses, Cruz can be the conservative leader he was so often attacked for not being over the last few years. Now that he is no longer required to hedge his every position, craft every utterance for maximum flexibility, and throw inconvenient political groups under the bus, Cruz can focus on actually legislating and moving the American political center rightward.

As I argued last year (in an unheeded essay urging he stay put in the Senate):

It's that way in most states, today, no matter when they joined the union.

And at our founding, 1/3 were for staying a Brit colony, 1/3 didn't care, and only about a 1/3 were in the thick of it.

And then there are wars, which kills off the "flower of all nations", as well as a lot of the detritus. Modern medicine keeps alive those who would have died, once upon a time, and so our population changes and that is just the tip of THAT iceberg.

Cruz missed 24% of Senate votes in 2015 and did worse in 2016. Conservative principles should dictate doing the job you were elected to do. Again I hope he does exactly that from this point on.

And, Cruz is dishonest, sneaky and underhanded. Lyin Ted will still not say whether or not he will honor his agreement to vote for the republican nominee.

“Shirley, Texas can find a real Conservative American citizen - not a Canadian Establishment GOP-E puppet.”

Now you've confused me, Are you saying that the good folks in SHIRLEY, TX can find a Real Conservative? Or are you saying SURELY, TEXAS can find one? Which do you mean?

“FR is changing, I’ve changed and it’s probably time for me to leave.”

There is an alternative, maybe you’re wrong and should listen to the dialogue here more closely.

“That is not enough time for her to have attained Canadian citizenship by their requirements. Therefore, at his birth, Cruz’s mother was a US citizen, and she transferred that citizenship at birth to Ted Cruz.”

But someone else said that she moved from the US to England, and then to Canada, and was a British Subject on arrival in Canada ( back then the British Commonwealth Countries operated as a single entity, so someone with British Citizenship would have automatically been allowed into Canada w/o any immigration stuff). Clear that up for me.

Cruz should snap out of it. His prolonged silence is lending visions of him in a fetal position on the couch with his blankie, thumb in mouth.

Ted is appearing to be far more immature than he is principled.

When thrown off a horse, one hurries to get right back on...if able.

Is Cruz able? Not yet.

Cruz parents moved to Canada 4 years before his birth not in 1969, but dates don’ t tell the full story one way or the other.

If his mother actually renounced her US citizenship before Raphael was born Ted is an illegal alien as he was a Canadian (and possibly Cuban) and has never been naturalized.

He may be hoping Obama’s executive order is upheld in the SC.

All that aside if he makes it to the general in 2 years I will be voting for him like I did 6 years ago.

SAVE YOUR BREATH .. YOU’RE WASTING YOUR TIME.

CRUZ COULDN’T HAVE ENTERED THE COUNTRY ILLEGALLY IN 1974, BECAUSE HE WAS ALREADY AN AMERICAN CITIZEN.

MY GOD .. WILL YOU PEOPLE GET OVER YOURSELF.

STOP BEING IGNORANT AND REALIZE PEOPLE ARE LYING ABOUT TED BECAUSE THEY HATE HIM .. AND THEY HATE HIM BECAUSE HE CALLS THEM OUT WHEN THEY SCREW WITH THE AMERICAN PEOPLE AND LIE TO US, AND WHEN THEY REFUSE TO DO THEIR JOBS IN CONGRESS.

THIS IS THE WHOLE REASON WHY THEY CONTINUE TO LIE ABOUT HIS CITIZENSHIP. GROW UP - YOU’RE NOT ALWAYS RIGHT.

“We cannot afford to give up even one Senate seat.”

So true!

Is there someone in line to primary out Cruz?

It’s not up to me, it’s up to the Texans Ted lies to whether or not he is returned to the US Senate.....
