“We cannot afford to give up even one Senate seat.”

We need Senators that understand the constitution and how not to compromise constitutional duties because Goldman Sachs tells him to. Cruz’s vote on Corker to “pre-ratify” the Iran “deal” before we even knew what was in it disqualifies Cruz. He is not up to the job.

Primary him. Run someone who will do the right thing even when it’s not convenient.

Just to be clear on what posters have already said, Cruz was in Canada in 1967. Not sure if you have accepted that yet. From the link within your link.

"Rafael Bienvenido Cruz and Eleanor Darragh had lived in the “Houston of Canada” for three years by the time they had Rafael Edward Cruz, the only child they would have together (both had children from previous marriages"

Cruz selective service registration says he was in New Orleans in late July of 1967.

We’ll see if anyone steps up to oppose Cruz or even if Cruz runs again.

Subtract 3 years from Dec. 1970 (Ted's birth) and what year would that be?

“THE STORY GOES”

What “story” .. where did you get the “story” .. who’s telling the “story”.

Seems to me none of you have the real answers.

“... we can’t trace his parentage due to sealed records we have no idea what he is ...”

WHAT ..?? so YOU’RE GUESSING .. AND SPITTING HATE-FILLED MESSAGES TO ME AND YOU DON’T EVEN HAVE THE EVIDENCE TO BACK UP YOUR ASSUMPTIONS ..?????????????????????????

Like I said; ya’ll are just too easy to jerk around because you’re just repeating stuff you’ve heard AND YOU HAVE NO EVIDENCE TO BACK UP ANY THING YOU’RE SAYING.

GOOD GRIEF!

That would mean he registered for the draft and immediately went to Canada.

???

You can’t back anything you purport either as it is sealed but I don’t scream in caps and call you names like an unhinged madman. You are a sad, scary person. Bless your little heart. So many of you Cruz supporters have been simply unhinged like Beck-—follow your leader??

All I am saying is that Rafael had August, September, Oct, November and most of December to make the 3 year timeline fit. Who knows, maybe he did want to dodge the draft but that wasn't my point.

I DO think he wanted to dodge the draft, but that’s a separate issue for me on why Washington would have considered Ted ineligible for the presidency and not an NBC.

My point (at this point) is that the timeline is incomplete.

NO ONE has found a marriage certificate or announcement anywhere. Cruz’s birth certificate doesn’t list Eleanor Cruz and Rafael Cruz as the parents. It lists Eleanor WILSON and Rafael Cruz as the parents.

Wilson is not Eleanor’s maiden name. It is her married name under her first husband from whom she divorced (about ‘63, I think).

So, in my opinion, Cruz was very possibly an illegitimate child born in a foreign country to a most likely US mother.

That explains the lack of CRBA, because of ‘embarrassment’??? There is some question whether in 1970 an unwed mother could pass birth citizenship to a child.

But, without a marriage certificate, newspaper announcement of marriage, etc., and NOTHING clear in any of these newspaper articles or Wiki articles, it is impossible to do much more than point out the incongruities.

Do you advocate that Cruz just keeps his records sealed and we just take his word for it? No questions need to be asked. Is that your position? I would think he would gladly open up his records just to clear the air on the issue if it would benefit him.

My understanding is that nothing can force him to open his records.

However, marriage licenses are public records. It’s odd that no one can find one.

In terms of his next run for the Senate, he really SHOULD open his records, but that’s up to Texas.

My understanding is that nothing can force him to open his records.

That the impasse, he then should have not been allowed to run. Just that simple. His freedom of choice would have been preserved without any possibility of criminal conduct.

He has already been issued a passport which is acceptable proof of citizenship. He can’t be prevented from running.

I was quoting what the LAW says, while you were just guessing .. because it fit your narrative of hating Cruz.

You’re the sad little person .. trying to make a crime out of a person being born in another country, even when the mother was a “natural born citizen”; and the truth is - there was no crime at all.

f the majority on FR doesn't like Cruz so much they don't even want him in the Senate, then I'm no longer interested in participating nor supporting FR.
