In NYC, conservative teachers are harassed, brought up on false charges, have threatening memos written to them and otherwise encouraged to leave so that the libtard teachers can have free reign to indoctrinate with this kind of trash. Anyone who dares to grade honestly, based on actual student performance, is also at risk of losing their job.
I am disgusted to see how many Hillary & Bernie fans there are among the so-called "educators". First one they should educate is themselves. They obviously can't discern between dross and quality. I'm not a rabid Trump fan, but at least he loves his country and sees the danger of all these scum illegal immigrants. NYC schools are FULL of illegals, especially Hispanic ones. A whole lot of them are gang members, tattoos and all. I can't even describe how utterly disgusting the gang members, boys AND girls, are. They dress like $2 ho's, they act like $2 ho's, their language is unimaginably crude and they have absolutely NO interest in getting educated. They have laid hands upon me numerous times, they have cursed me out (oh, but dummies, I "do" Spanish and know what you said), called me a whore and worse, etc. Being in the same room as your average gangbanger makes me long for a shower as soon as possible. They are human filth.
I was first made aware back in 1968 when stationed on Okinawa. An AFRTS TV program had a history of the war, when the segment dropping the A-bomb was shown the screen went black. Then back on after that segment. A few minutes later it mentioned a massive raid with conventional bombs on one of the large cities.

“The Japanese government began negotiations with the Allies about the terms of surrender on 10 August.[247] During this period B-29 attacks on Japan were limited to a raid by the 315th Bombardment Wing against an oil target on the night of 9/10 August and a daytime precision bombing attack on a factory in Tokyo on 10 August.
The next day, President Truman ordered a halt to the bombing due to the possibility that it would be interpreted as a sign that the peace negotiations had failed.[248] On 11 August, Spaatz issued a new targeting directive for any renewed attacks that reduced the emphasis on bombing cities in favor of intensified attacks on transport infrastructure.[249] On 13 August, B-29s dropped copies of the Japanese government’s conditional offer to surrender over Japanese cities.[250] Negotiations appeared to be stalled, and on 14 August Spaatz received orders to resume the bombing campaign. Arnold requested the largest attack possible, and hoped that USASTAF could dispatch 1,000 aircraft against the Tokyo region and other locations in Japan. In fact, 828 B-29s escorted by 186 fighters (for a total of 1,014 aircraft) were dispatched; during the day precision raids were made against targets at Iwakuni, Osaka and Tokoyama and at night the cities of Kumagaya and Isesaki were firebombed.[251][252]
While the Eighth Air Force units at Okinawa had not yet conducted any missions against Japan, General Doolittle decided not to contribute aircraft to this operation as he did not want to risk the lives of the men under his command when the war was effectively over.[253] These were the last attacks conducted against Japan by heavy bombers, as at noon on 15 August Hirohito made a radio broadcast announcing his country’s intention to surrender.[254]”
I was taking a Physics 101 class at Mira Costa college in Oceanside, CA back in the ‘70s sand had a Paki as the instructor. A good half of the class were retired Marines milking the GI Bill.
In a classroom lull, the Paki said that it was a racist decision to drop the bombs on Japan.
NOT ONE of the Marines said anything - a few hung their heads.
I had just watched a TV about Col. Tibbets where he said that getting organized was a nightmare as they didn’t know if they had to bomb Germany or Japan and therefore had to set up dual approaches.
I explained that to the Paki and added that half the guys in class would not be there and would most likely be rotting in some cemetery if the bombs hadn’t been dropped.
He just shifted gears and restarted the lesson without another word.
Christ, I was pist at him as well as the guys in the class for not jumping all over him.
Since the Japanese had not surrendered there is nothing wrong with what we did.
You are not actually saying there us anything wrong are you? Until they surrendered we should have been continuing to bring the war to an end
It was proper to carry the war to the enemy clear to the end.
The day Hiroshima was bombed we lost the Submarine Bullhead, still was losing men and planes throughout the theater of war.
Truman did OK.
The reason the Left despises our use of The Bomb, is that it kept their beloved Soviet Union out of Japan.
And imagine if the PLA was allowed into Japan once Mao took over, it would have been real ugly.
I've never been persecuted for being conservative, and I'm pretty blunt about my views. But I've definitely seen what you said about grading. Any real standards are almost impossible to uphold. If I held these kids to the standards, I'd only pass about 25% of them.
“Imagine the left if Truman had been a Republican!”
Most Liberals probably think Truman WAS a Republican, if
they even know who Truman was. - They like to think Lincoln
was a Democrat & are busy re-writing history to cast him as
such. (I’m not glorifying Lincoln; but Liberals do.)
