No it is not.

If you were to be put on trial before a judge who does not share your race, religion or ethnicity, you would be at risk of the judge’s biases, whether due to his race, religion or ethnicity or his affiliation with groups that advocate for the judge’s race, religion or ethnicity.

Would you want to be a Jew on trial in front of an Islamic judge?

Would you want a white cop on trial in front of a black judge who might be a BLM sympathizer?

Trump is right on this one.

That’s un-American nonsense.

The problem with Curiel is his association with racist organizations, additionally those organizations directly oppose Trump’s politics. If Curiel was not associated with these organizations there would be no conflict.

To be honest, while Trump does not emphasize ideology, the real problem is LEFTIST judges.

I sat in juvenile court and saw an Italian judge beg the fundamentalist muslim parents of a high school kid who threatened to kill a Jewish classmate - begged the parents NOT to leave the country and return to Pakistan with their kid, because George Bush was the problem and he would be out of office soon!

The parents were leaving the kid unsupervised while they traveled overseas on pilgrimages. The case had NOTHING to do with George Bush and this was after 9-11.

Alberto Gonzales came out supporting Trump on this. The problem is not race, the root problem is insane suicidal liberalism.
